Its Surtex this weekend! I've been working hard the last couple of months to get some nice new sets ready for New York. I'm super excited to be represented again by Pink Light Design and my fabulous agent Mary Beth Freet. Good luck to all the artists out there but especially to all the Pink Light designers!!

Byebye friends
Here is part of a vintage circus set I did for Surtex last year. I have some good friends leaving for Norway who's little boy Oscar is my Godson. I'm going to print this and frame it for Oscars room. So he doesn't forget his godmother! It's sad when friends leave especially here in Greece but with the job crisis how it is here it makes sense to find work abroad, so good luck to them!

Cool Britannia!
It was nice to see the stamp set I designed for Quick Cards Made Easy for sale. Its all about the Queens Jubilee this month so the stamp set is entitled 'Cool Britannia' and features a Union Jack, a crown some bunting a few other queen themed stamps. It was fun to work on as it was the first stamp set I've done.
It was also nice to see Pink Light design get mentioned in the Surtex newsletter 'On the surface' I was pleased to see my name mentioned alongside some other designers who I admire Amy Shaw and Andrea Victoria.

Surtex, iphones and kite flying!
I've been super busy preparing for Surtex where this year I will be represented for the first time by Pink Light Design. I've really enjoyed designing for this show. I've done a selection of florals, christmas and some novelty sets, let hope I sale a few!
I came across an old design of mine at the Textile Republic site. Its a floral thats available to buy as an iphone case. I think it looks quite nice, shame I don't have an iphone!
I am also busy working on some photobooks and calendars for Asda which is fun. As well as that I'm off to the UK for three weeks next week I'm really looking forward to it. I'll be looking out for the recent Craftseller and Quick cards magazines as this month I designed cover gifts for both.
Thank god the weather has changed from being totally wet and dark to a balmy 22 degrees just the sort of weather I love. It's not so good for sitting inside designing but is lovely for picnics and kite flying in the park.
