First Christmas orders..!!!

We started getting our first Christmas card orders from NOTHS.com today, very exciting, it means Christmas is definitely not too far away. We did well in our Christmas sales last year but this year we're hoping to double our sales figures. Check out the cards at NOTHS.com. We have two ranges 'Winter Wonderland' which are hand finished with beautiful red gems and 'Christmas Swirls'which have a textured wood background with folksy style Christmas illustrations in the foreground.

Folksy inspired Christmas designs

Here's a little folksy inspired Christmas design for you all. Its part of a card and wrap set I've been trying to finish. I haven't been able to get much done lately as my daughter was at home all week suffering from Croup which is basically like a nasty case of laryngitis. Luckily she is all better now and is back to here normal chatty self. I was quite excited to learn that the new Print and Pattern book is out. The first one was excellent I hope the second one meets my expectations!

Paperchase Xmas Cards

I love Paperchase. It's one of those shops that never fails in what it sales. The Christmas cards this year are really special. I love the way they have such original designs and in all sorts of mediums..cool cartoons, funky illustrations and best of all cards that don't use the standard Christmas colours of red/white/siler/gold etc..boring! I love the neon colours and the purples and blacks they're using this year and the best thing is most cards have 50p of the price going to a charity..mint!

Some Christmas Card designs

Here is a sneak peek of some Christmas card designs I've been working on. I'm quite pleased with the results as I want the designs to be a bit different then the usual designs that are on the market, fingers crossed they will do well.

I have been a bit busy lately as my daughter celebrated her very 1st birthday which to be honest was chaos but good fun. She especially enjoyed seeing all her little buddies and eating lots of treats laced with e numbers. I was quite chuffed with the cake I made (in the shape of a 1 might I add!). I've posted a pic below and I don't want to boast but..it tasted better than it looked!
